• The Office of Accountability exists to support the school district on meeting its responsibilities in accordance with the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) and to support continuous improvement in schools.
    • As part of our mission, we:
      • Evaluate state and federal grant awards, according to requirements, to determine compliance and effectiveness;
      • Monitor the external evaluations of District programs;
      • Compile data on district-wide surveys;
      • Support the districts’ capacity to meet student-level data reporting requirements;
      • Collect district attendance and membership data used to calculate state subsidies and tuition rates;
      • Maintain charter school oversight and compliance with the Office of the Superintendent;
      • Provide on-going technical assistance to schools, as well as central office staff;
      • Support the development of school and district level comprehensive plans with the Office of Academics;
      • Serve as an LEA representative for Comprehensive Support and Improvement (CSI), Additional Targeted Support (ATSI), and Targeted Support and Improvement (TSI) schools by monitoring progress in collaboration with the Office of Academics;
      • Collaborate with district and school leaders as well as external partners on parent, family, and community engagement initiatives to enhance efforts in improving student outcomes.
